Micromax has launched a new 4G LTE-enabled smartphone in India, the Canvas Xpress 4G. Priced at Rs. 6,599, the smartphone will go on sale starting Wednesday on Flipkart.
The domestic handset maker has also collaborated with Airtel to offer bundled 'Double Data' offer to its 3G and 4G consumers.
The highlight of the Micromax Canvas Xpress 4G at the price is 4G LTE support, specifically Cat. 4 LTE with download speeds of up to 150Mbps. Micromax has lately been pushing 4G-enabled smartphones in the Indian market. The company initially announced the Canvas Blaze 4G, Canvas Fire 4G, andCanvas Play 4G in September. This was followed by the launch of the Canvas 5 smartphone priced at Rs. 11,999 earlier this month. The company recently also introduced the Canvas Blaze 4G+ by listing it on the company site.
